Zofia Kiniorska is a Polish conductor. She began her music education at the age of 6, majoring in piano. In 2021 Zofia earned her Master of Arts degree in Symphony and Opera Conducting at the Frederic Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, Poland. In 2020 she completed her postgraduate studies in Music Management.

In the 2022/2023 artistic season, Zofia was a Resident Conductor of the Sinfonia Varsovia, as part of the Polish National Institute of Music and Dance scholarship program.

In 2020 she won the 2nd Prize and Special Award from the chamber orchestra at the 3rd Adam Kopyciński National Competition for Students of Conducting in Wrocław, Poland. Two years later in 2022, she was invited to participate in the Conductor’s Academy with Paavo Järvi and Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich, where she received the Audience Award. On December 31, 2022, she made her debut at the Warsaw Philharmonic, conducting the New Year's Eve Concert with the soprano Iwona Sobotka. She has been also a semifinalist in the 17th Donatella Flick Conducting Competition with the London Symphony Orchestra, in March 2023; and Premio Guido Cantelli 2022 conducting competition in Turin, Italy. In July 2023, she got to the second stage of The Mahler Competition, as one of nine contestants. She also had an opportunity to develop her skills during the Gstaad Conducting Academy 2023.

Zofia Kiniorska had an opportunity to conduct various orchestras, such as Warsaw Philharmonic, Orchestra Sinfonia Varsovia, Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie Konstanz, Baltic Sea Philharmonic, Arthur Rubinstein Philharmonic Orchestra of Łódź, Jerzy Semkow Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra. She also worked with Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra (NOSPR) in Katowice during the first edition of masterclass with Marin Alsop (2021).

Zofia actively participated in the masterclass led by Paavo Järvi, Marin Alsop, Johannes Schlaefli, Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla, Neeme Järvi, Jaap van Zweden, Kristjan Järvi, Leonid Grin, Carlo Montanaro, Jerzy Maksymiuk, George Tchitchinadze, Massimiliano Caldi and Yu Feng; she also worked as a conductor’s assistant with Marek Janowski, Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla, Marta Gardolińska, Dirk Vermeulen, Jacek Kaspszyk. She also had an opportunity to be an assistant conductor during the productions of the National Polish Ballet conducted by Patrick Fournillier and Marta Kluczyńska. In the 2023/24 artistic season, she has been an assistant of maestro Jacek Kaspszyk preparing the premiere production of G. Verdi's Otello, directed by David Pountney at the Poznań Opera House.

Since 2022, she has been conducting the Symphony Orchestra of ZPSM1 in Warsaw.

In June 2024, she will take part in the International Conducting Competition Rotterdam ICCR.
